i start like anything else let them wear it with no stim. for awhile then you turn it up ever so slightly till you get the reaction were it looks like they have something going on with there ear and this is the correction you start with.
i dont use e collar for my training but i have worked with them for people with handicaps. and i have learned how to use them from some great trainers _________________ Steve Simpkins

Well I don't have a handicap (physically anyway) LOL but my dog is really hard for me to handle. I can't go to training in the rain or I would be skiing behind him. I'm not a little girl by any means but this dog turned out bigger/stronger than what I was looking for. I think I could save my rotator cuff, elbow and maybe my wrist some damage if I started using the E on this guy. _________________ Michelle K |

unfortunately i have seen a lot of man made issues in co-ordinace with the e collar you have to be correct with it gentle soothing and able to praise praise praise _________________ Steve Simpkins
